Artist's Statement
My love for theatrical performance, expressive dance and poetic cinema has been driving me since I started as an artist.
So is my need to communicate, to provoke thoughts, to challenge the traditional, hidden and never-ending stereotypes about the male body, about myself, my identity, my body.
And to a certain extent about any bodies.
I create with dance, movement and words to explore the unlimited possibilities of my body's representation.
Therefore to fight against Societal expectations of what my place in the world is supposed to be.
Making work that can take me and my audiences onto a journey full of wonders and contradictions is what I aim to do.
Whichever form it takes - live performances, short films, durational and experimental combinations of disciplines - my work is a slice of me, of my creativity, of a personal moment in time.
My movements, my words, my visual take on the male body, its sexuality, its identity and aesthetics are my way to do it.
